Vinted Members Share Displeasure Regarding Sizing Updates
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Many shoppers and sellers have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a modified sizing category than originally posted as a result of the reclassification.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to examine their items and update the measurements by hand when needed, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Changes
Earlier, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, based in Derby, said she had been left angered due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
